W październiku „Kiosk ze sztuką” zamienia się w kiosk z publikacjami artystycznymi. Wspólnie z księgarnią Motto z Berlina zaprezentujemy najciekawsze prace artystów eksplorujących pole książki artystycznej. Jednym z fenomenów ostatnich lat jest tzw. „selfpublishing”- tworzenie, oraz wydawanie przez artystów własnych książek, magazynów, druków ulotnych. Publikacje te powstają w małych nakładach i często są numerowane, czy indywidualnie dopełniane malarsko i graficznie. Jednocześnie coraz większy jest rynek księgarski zajmujący się wyłącznie tym zjawiskiem. Jedną z najważniejszych księgarni, skupiających się wyłącznie na książce artystycznej jest berlińskie Motto, którego filie powstały już w Zurychu, Kopenhadze, Bazylei, Wiels, Vancouver i Melbourne. Kuratorski wybór książek Alexis Zavialoff - twórcy Motto - znajdzie się w październiku na Węglinie. Poza tym również w kiosku znajdą się wydawnictwa lubelskie z Teatru NN, oraz DDK „Węglin”, węgierskie z Roham, oraz książki Moravy z Poznania. Całość wydarzenia otworzy premiera książki „Tajemnice Węglina”. Powstała ona w trakcie warsztatów literackich z Danielem Odiją. Oprawę wizualną i projekt książki stworzył węgierski rysownik Attila Stark związany z wydawnictwem Roham. Będzie on gościem spotkania które odbędzie się 05.10. o godz. 19:00.

In October, "Kiosk with art" turns into a kiosk with artistic publications. Together with Motto bookshop in Berlin we will present the most interesting works of artists exploring the book field. One of the phenomena of recent years is "selfpublishing" - creating and publishing by artists own books, magazines, posters. These publications are created in small editions and are often numbered, sometimes individually complimented with painting and graphics. At the same time, the book market dealing exclusively with this phenomenon is getting bigger and wider. One of the major bookstore, focusing on the art book is Motto in Berlin, which has already established branches in Zurich, Copenhagen, Basel, Wiels, Vancouver and Melbourne. The curatorial choice of artbooks from Motto will appear in October at Weglin. In addition, in the kiosk one will find also Lublin publishers with NN Theatre and DDK "Węglin", Hungarian with Roham, and Morava books from Poznań.
The whole event will open the launch of the book "Weglin Mysteries". The text was created during the literary workshop with Daniel Odija. Layout and design of the book was created by Hungarian artist Attila Stark associated with Roham publishing. He will also be a guest of the meeting to be held on 05.10. at. 19:00.
The "Kiosk with artbooks" will also present a Polish bookhouse Morava. At the meeting with it's creator - Honza Zamojski will talk about the process of creating and releasing books.
